Kellyanne Conway complained about Senator Bob Corker on Fox & Friends, calling his criticism of the President “incredibly irresponsible”. During the interview, Brian Kilmeade mentioned the feud between Corker and Trump, which escalated to name calling over the weekend.
Kilmeade said, “What a demeaning tweet at the president”, referring to Corker’s comment on the White House being more of an adult day care these days. Conway was quick to agree.
She told the hosts, “Well it is, and world leaders see that. We’ve all worked with Sen. Corker over the years. We thank him for his service, but I find tweets like this to be incredibly irresponsible.”
Conway then added that no one should talk to anyone like that, especially not to a President. “It adds to the insulting that the mainstream media and the president’s detractors — almost a year after this election they still can’t accept the election results — it adds to their ability and their cover to speak about a president of the United States, the president of the United States, in ways that no president should be talked about.”
What if, however, the President was also slinging mud? By her comments, Conway insinuates that no one but Trump can turn to Twitter to express their opinions or insult others. No one but the President is allowed to be “incredibly irresponsible”.
